Event Recorder
The event recorder continuously records the train speed, running position, as well as on-board driving conditions such as the powering notch and brake operation.
It is compatible with "devices for recording on-board driving conditions" stipulated in the "Ministerial Ordinance Providing for Technical Standards on Railways".
Standard specifications
| Power supply | DC24V, DC100V |
|---|---|
| Power consumption | 5 W or less |
| Recording media | CF card (256 MB to 512 MB) |
| Recording interval | 200 msec |
| Recording time | Approx. 270 hours (with 256 MB CF card)Following which oldest data is overwritten. |
| Recorded data | Time (with time correction using GPS) Speed (obtained from speedometer generator) Digital signals/analog signalsSerial signals (RS-485, RS-232C) (Analog signals and serial signals are optional) |

Features
- On-board driving conditions are recorded on large-capacity storage media (CF card), and can be displayed and analyzed using dedicated analysis software.
- It can also be used to ascertain on-board driving conditions when failure occurs during train operation.
Remote Monitoring System
Using general-purpose communication lines such as 5G networks, operating data for applicable devices is stored on a cloud server.
Data in the cloud can be viewed from anywhere with an Internet connection.
Features
- By incorporating a remote monitoring terminal into the VVVF inverter and auxiliary power supply, a train condition monitoring system can be constructed without using a train control management system.
- Can even be added to existing equipment.
- Data can be viewed on a PC, tablet, or smartphone via access a browser.
