Features and Functions

Customization Functions Tailored to System (Built-In PLC Functions)

The built-in PLC functions include relay circuits, 36 types of data flow circuit, and 18 types of control block circuit, and the desired type of control can be constructed inside the chopper. (Program capacity: 16 kB, approx. 1,024 steps)

Network Compatibility

Toyo Denki's DC power supplies are compatible with OPCN-1, RS-232C, RS-422, and RS-485 networks, allowing a variety of systems to be constructed through data communication with a host system such as PLC.

Battery Simulator

The VF66CH and CH66 are equipped with a battery simulator mode, allowing the user to set the electrical characteristics of the battery to simulate actual equipment charging and discharging.

DCH66Insulated DC Power Supply

Toyo Denki has developed a DC power supply system combining an insulated chopper and step-up/down chopper.

It eliminates the need for the commercial power supply insulated transformer required for conventional ungrounded system requirements, allowing the size of the system to be reduced.

DCH66

Features and Functions

Miniaturization of Insulated Transformer by Increasing Frequency

The size of the insulated transformer has been reduced by increasing the insulated chopper switching frequency. The footprint of our existing equipment has been reduced by 60%.

Battery Simulator

The step-up/down chopper is equipped with a battery simulator mode, allowing the user to set the electrical characteristics of batteries or capacitors to simulate actual equipment charging and discharging.

Improved Maintainability

Maintenance workability has been improved with stack structure and cooling fan unit structure, allowing maintenance to be carried out easily. * A dedicated lifter is required for maintenance.

Reduced Maintenance Costs

Long-life parts have been selected for maintenance parts.
(Main circuit capacitor: expected design life of 10 years, cooling fan: expected design life of 5 years)
