High Quietness

  • Low noise in consideration of the surrounding environment.
    (2 to 10 dB (A) reduction compared to standard ED motors equipped with large cooling fan)

  • Even more compact than standard ED motors.
  • Since there is no fan motor, there is no dust swirling around, and this prevents products becoming stained during production.
  • Since there is no fan motor, long life is maintained even in dusty environments.
  • Interchangeable with normal air-cooled ED motors.
  • Industrial water can be used*.

Note 2) Industrial water can be used, but a separate heat exchanger should be used if the water is dirty, such as when using the product overseas, or if there is a risk of the cooling water freezing.
Note 3) The cooling water channel is galvanized to prevent rust.Cleaning the cooling water channel with chemicals is strictly prohibited. Doing so will cause the paint to peel off.

Set the inverter PWM carrier frequency to 6 kHz.
Please consult Toyo Denki if wishing to change the PWM carrier frequency to a value other than 6 kHz.
