Door Step Device

The door step device is stored below the car doors, and is equipped with a step plate that advances from the car to the platform when operated to eliminate the gap between the doors and the platform.

Features

  • The step plate is operated with a pneumatic cylinder built into the unit.
  • Maintains an appropriate distance from the platform to avoid the impact of car oscillations when getting on and off trains.
  • Equipped with a safety function employing an interlock circuit to prevent the train moving while the step plate is advanced.
