Door operating equipment

The door operating equipment is typically installed above the doors of passenger cars to open and close those doors. Such equipment must protect the safety of the passengers, be compact in order to conserve space, and work with other electrical systems. In order to achieve this, a lot of expertise goes into the design and controls of the equipment.

Features

  • Secure safety: Adjustable closing force that makes it possible for passengers, their clothing and other articles to be freed up easily in the event of being pinched in the doors, while keeping the doors securely shut once the train is in motion.
  • Low maintenance: Reduced number of components and longer life to reduce maintenance workload. Also, lighter weight in order to make removal and installation easier.
