History of Toyo Denki Seizo K.K. 100 years

Toyo Denki Seizo K.K. was established with the spectacular feeling of contributing to the development of the country and planning to "domestically manufacture electrical machinery for railway vehicles" in 1918.
After technical cooperation with the Dick Kerr Company in the UK, we have strengthened our technological capabilities and production system, developed and proposed Japan's first domestic electric appliances to Japan's railroad.
In addition, it has expanded from transportation business to industrial business and information equipment business field, and has been contributing to the development of social infrastructure system 100 years.
Toyo Denki Seizo K.K. will promote global expansion with advanced technological development suitable for the name of "Toyo of Technology" and will further grow for the next 100 years.

Technical cooperation with British Dick Kerr and establishment of the company with the capital of 3 million yen

Operation started at Yokohama Factory

Control equipments and traction motors delivered directly to Keihan Electric Railway Co.

In June, Toyo Denki Seizo K.K. 100th anniversary of foundation
Shiga Ryuo Plant is a new factory that integrates development, design and manufacturing functions of industrial business.
With the integration of the industrial works at Shiga Ryuo Plant and the success of the restructuring at the Yokohama Plant, we will achieve the improvement of the production capacity of the transportation business and the creation of the foundation for building a stable business structure of the industrial business.
