Various user systems can be coped with by connecting Toyo Denki's programmable controllers and intelligent inverters to open networks.

High-speed/accurate drive systems are realized via open networks such as OPCN-1, PROFIBUS, and DeviceNet. Total FA and data collecting/monitoring systems can be easily realized through LAN connection by means of OPCN-2 (FL-NET) for other companies' PLC and host equipment and Ethernet for personal computers.

VF64 intelligent inverter   Specification
VF64 intelligent inverter TOYO VF64 intelligent inverter is equipped with 3 types of control systems, sensor-less vector control, vector control with speed sensor, and V/f control through high-performance vector control technology, and an optimum system can be selected corresponding to the application. Furthermore, it is incorporated with innovative super block function, sequencer function, and trace-back function, and they can be easily operated/monitored on the PC screen. In combination with the UF motor dedicated to inverter, high accuracy, high response system can be constructed.

EDM system   Specification
EDM system EDM system TOYO ED motor (Eco-drive motor: Interior permanent magnet synchronous motor) is improved 40 to 50% in loss in comparison with the conventional IM (induction motor) and the bearing doubled. With the same frame No. as our IM, the output obtained is about 2 times larger. GD2 is reduced 30 to 70% in comparison with that of IM and the speed response is improved. TOYO ED64sp intelligent inverter realizes performance equivalent to that of IM by adopting an efficient space vector control system. Furthermore, it is equipped with innovative super block function, sequencer function, and trace-back function, which can be easily operated/monitored on the PC screen.

Options for inverter    
Options for inverter Kinds of options are ready use for extending the functions of VF64/ED64sp inverters. There are various communication cards, complying with trend of open networks in the FA field, analog input/output card to support the super block function, motor temperature detection card for accurate torque controlling, and dynamic braking unit to absorb the energy when the speed is reduced.

Sine-wave converter (high-power-factor converter)

VF61R Input power factor is made almost 1 by controlling so that the input current will be sine wave. It corresponds to the harmonic restraint guidelines. Possibility of 100% continuous regeneration of the braking energy of the inverter.

DC drive system
DCS800   Specification
DCS800 DCS500 is all digital thyristor Leonard equipment corresponding to the open networks, featuring high accuracy and high-speed response. The electric constant is automatically set by measuring through auto tuning. The control operation within the Leonard equipment can be freely created by the user to construct the optimum control for the system. Parameter setting, storage control, and trace-back functions are provided with the PC tools. The Leonard equipment is provided on the top with LCD display of 20 columns x 4 lines of good visibility.

DG-AMP   Specification
DG-AMP 1-unit high-speed operation controller standard-equipped with digital input/output, analog input/output, and pulse input/output. Control period 250μsec is realized. Various operation controls are realized with plenty of sequence function and function modules by means of the user programmable tool TDsxEditor.

It can be connected to various sensors, communication apparatuses, and car navigation systems (limited to models specified by our company).
