At Offices

As early as 2004, Toyo Denki adopted office policies to promote casual dress codes and raise air-conditioning temperatures during summer months, foreshadowing the Japanese government's Cool Biz initiative. In addition, the company has adopted policies to turn off lighting during lunch breaks and shut down computers when workers are away from their desks. |
